Entrance Notes

(1) The main accessible entrance to the Chemistry Building is located on the north side of University Boulevard. This entrance includes a ramp and is level and accessible with a power door. This entrance leads into the main floor foyer of the Chemistry B Block South Wing. Another main entrance is located on the east side of Main Mall close to University Boulevard. This entrance includes two sets of doors which are not accessible due to stairs. These entrances lead into the main floors of Chemistry B Block South Wing and Chemistry D Block Centre Wing.

(2) The second main entrance to the Chemistry Building from Main Mall is located on the east side of Main Mall in the centre of the building. This entrance is inaccessible due to stairs. This entrance leads into the Chemistry D Block Centre Wing.

(3) Two more accessible entrances are in the courtyard on the east side (back) of the Chemistry D Block. One door is located in the southwest corner of the courtyard and leads into Chemistry D Block Centre Wing. This entrance includes a ramp and is level and accessible with a power door. The other door is a few metres to the left on the north side of Chemistry C Block East Wing and is level and accessible with a manual door.

(4) Another accessible entrance is at the back of the Chemistry Building between Chemistry D and E Blocks, opposite the Hennings Building. The entrance has a ramp and is level with a power door.

Routing Notes

To reach entrances 3 and 4 in the back of the Chemistry building, turn south on Agricultural Road between the Chemistry E Block North Wing and the Hennings Building, or take Volkoff Lane on the west side of East Mall between the Hebb and Hennings Buildings and proceed west.

Accessibility Notes

Some wings / areas of this building are inaccessible due to stairs.
