THE NORTH PARKADE IS LOCATED AT 6115 STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD. THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARKADE IS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD ACROSS FROM THE STUDENT UNION BUILDING (SUB) AND THE STUDENT RECREATION CENTRE (SRC).

History / Points of Interest

Year Erected: 2011

In September 2011, UBC Faculty of Law opened its new building, Allard Hall. It is named in honor of a UBC law alumnus, Peter A. Allard, Q.C., and his generous contribution toward the new building. This is the first purpose-built, all-new law building for a Canadian law school in 30 years. Allard donated a further $30 million to UBC's Faculty of Law in 2015, the largest gift ever to a Canadian law school. In recognition of his gift, which enables the faculty to build on its reputation for championing human rights and social justice, the faculty was renamed The Peter A. Allard School of Law.
