THE NORTH PARKADE IS LOCATED AT 6115 STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD. THE ENTRANCE TO THE PARKADE IS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF STUDENT UNION BOULEVARD ACROSS FROM THE STUDENT UNION BUILDING (SUB) AND THE STUDENT RECREATION CENTRE (SRC).

THE BUCHANAN E METERS ARE LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF EAST MALL IN THE 1800 BLOCK OUTSIDE THE BUCHANAN E BUILDING.

History / Points of Interest

Year Erected: 1927

The centre wing of Main Library was built in 1924 and 1925 and was one of the first permanent buildings constructed on the new Point Grey campus. The North wing of the building was added in 1948, and the South wing in 1960. Main Library underwent extensive renovations in the early 2000s, with the north and south wings being completely demolished. Only the facade of the centre wing was retained. Completed in 2006, the newly renovated building was renamed Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.
