Unique Location Features / Special Usage- n/a History / Points of InterestYear Erected: 1995 The building housing University Hill Secondary School originally opened in 1995 as the National Research Council (NRC) Institute for Machinery Research, with laboratories for conducting heavy machinery research. The NRC eventually moved to a new building in South Campus and an arrangement between UBC and the Vancouver School Board enabled the old NRC building to be extensively refurbished into a new building for University Hill Secondary School. |
